It is associated with the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the ancient Greek goddess of love and beauty. Use the short stop as an opportunity to relax and soak in the tranquil atmosphere. The sound of the waves and the sea breeze make for a peaceful break. There might be local vendors or stalls in the vicinity offering souvenirs, snacks, or refreshments. Consider supporting local businesses if you wish to pick up a small memento.
Exploring the Kourion archaeological site, home to impressive mosaics and a well-preserved ancient theater, promises a journey into the rich history of Cyprus. Kourion, an ancient city-kingdom, is one of Cyprus’s most significant archaeological sites. It flourished during the Roman and Byzantine periods and is known for its well-preserved ruins. Marvel at the exquisite mosaic floors of the Houses of Eustolios and Achilles. We will begin your journey back to Pafos. Enjoy the scenic drive and capture any sights you might have missed on the way.
